Book Madness: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone

Duh duh dahhhh!!!! I’m back!!! Or am I? Am I really an impostor in disguise, pretending to be Bailey? Or am I really Bailey, the creator of Llama Omelette? Who knows? . . . . .  I don’t. Well, maybe I know, but I’m not telling. Let’s get to the book.

This is a character analysis of the three main characters from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J. K. Rowling. This is one of my favorite books. I know I said that last time, but I really, really like all the Harry Potter books. I don’t usually like books that are written in the third person as much, but J. K. Rowling uses it perfectly to given you the chance to analyze the characters. In this series, you know the character traits of not just the main character, Harry, but also in most of the supporting characters as well. Harry shows that he holds up and stays brave through tough/dangerous situations, so one of his major traits is bravery. Another trait is honesty. He also shows great friendship and determination.

Harry’s best friend, Ron, shows the character traits of determination and perseverance. His major trait, although, is loyalty. He shows that he is unwilling to give up on his friends.

Harry’s other friend, Hermione, shows the traits of intelligence and determination. She is calm under pressure, and she is unwilling to give up on her friends.

The plot is exciting, and Rowling has done an awesome job of describing the setting, which happens to be a school of magic that resides in a castle.

I would say that the age range for this is about seven through always. Harry Potter is  one of those books that stay with you your whole life. The whole book sends a message of bravery, determination, and confidence in times of turmoil. On my customary rating scale of llamas, I give it a five out of five. Or did I go out of ten? If I go out of five, I give it five llamas. If I go out of ten, I give it ten.

I’ll try to post another one of these soon! No guarantees though, because I have a lot to do.

Stay awesome!

I’m back! Maybe . . .

Hey guys! Or whomever is reading. Yeah.  I like grammar. Well, anyway, I’m back , for a while. I’ve been super busy with school and other stuff, like practicing the piano and saxophone. I have been working on some short pieces of fiction, and of course, reading many books. Some of my favorites that I have finished in the past month are “The Bane Chronicles” which is a fantasy-fiction book by Cassandra Clare,  and a book called “The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating”, which is a memoir written by Elizabeth Tova Bailey. “The Bane Chronicles” is an accompaniment book that goes with Clare’s other series “The Mortal Instruments” and “The Infernal Devices”. I have recently finished “The Infernal Devices” trilogy, which I loved,  and I am midway through the sixth and last book in “The Mortal Instruments” series. It is titled “City of Heavenly Fire”,  and so far I absolutely love the character development. It has a lot of action in it so far, and it keeps your attention.

That’s all for now.

New Mega-Awesome Llama Video!!!!!

Hi! Hi! Hi! Hi! Hi! Hi!
I have a new MEGA-AWESOME LLAMA VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here’s the URL:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgkYHhG18uc

Warning! I do not own it.  Not mine!!!

Well, anyway, it’s just a little bit of llama awesomeness.  It’s titled: Classic Sesame Street – girl takes her llama to the dentist.  Another warning!  It’s strange.  And kind of dumb.  Let’s rephrase that.  Really dumb.  It teaches kids bad grammar (me and my llama) and that it is okay to take your llama to the dentist.  I sooooo need to do a parody of this.  But first I have to find a llama.  That might be kind of hard. Well, anywaaaaaaaay, I NEED COMMENTS!!!!!!!!  Please, whatever you think of this video (dumb, stupid, childish, awesome), I want to know.  And I need suggestions of what to put next.  Please, comments!!!

I really do need comments!!!

Llamas rule!!!

I am awesome!!!

This video is funny!!!

Bailey!!!!!

Up next: I’m working on a book madness, and a couple of polls, and of course the random awesome post.

Guinea pigs!!!

I own a guinea pig named Ginger, and she is just the cutest thing ever!!!! But, she isn’t very smart. I had let her loose in the grass outside my house while I cleaned her cage, but I had to run in the house for like, five minutes. I came back out, and there she was, huddled next to the fountain, with her bottom half soaking wet. She had jumped in the water to go swimming!! She was super cold, so I rushed her in the house and rinsed her off in warm water, and she seems okay now, but sometimes she is a bit of an idiot. Like the times when she decides to take a dip in 60 degree water. 🙂 She’s okay now (I think), but I’m definitely going to pay closer attention to her when she’s outside.

Another Ginger-y story!!! Once,  I was playing with her on the ground, and she seemed pretty happy. But then she darted under the couch! I soon learned that extracting guinea pigs that are happy to be under the couch out from under the couch is harder than it sounds. But, thanks to the marvels of green peppers, I got her out, and resolved to never let her go near a couch again.

Got any stories of when your pet was not so smart *idiotic*? Just put them in the comments!! Alright, I have a grand total of comments!! Duh duh duh daaaaaaaaa!! Twelve. I have deluded myself into forgetting that eight of those comments were spam. 🙁 Anywaaaaaaay, I need more comments!! About anything!!! I will put up a suggestions page, so if you have anything to suggest, suggest away. Some examples are videos, new polls, and pictures.

Stay cool!!!!

Merry Christmas!!! Wait, no I got that wrong. Happy New Year’s!! I think!!! Well, anyway, happy holidays from the Llama Omelette crew, which basically means happy holidays from me. I’d like to say I had my own crew, but, accounting for the fact that I don’t have my own crew to order around, I won’t. Happy holidays, and make sure to make the rest of 2013 the best ever!!

Happy 2014!!!!!

Happy new year!!!

Exclamation points rock!!!!!

really need to find something new to say!!!!!!

Bailey!!!!!!!

The REAL Reason

Hi, Bailey here. This is my post explaining the REAL reason the blog is named Llama Omelette. Reason 1: I like llamas and omelettes. Reason 2: Once,  my mentor and I were looking for a name to give a puppet show we were putting on, and we came across this website. I’m not putting a link for privacy policies, but was called chicken smoothie. One of the characters in the puppet show was a llama, so I had the animal. After that we brainstormed foods, until I came up with what I had for breakfast: an omelette. Llama omelette just sounded awesome, and it sounded awesome for a blog name too. And that is the reason this is Llama Omelette.

Stay awesome!!!

Eat omelettes!!!

Be cool!!!

Use exclamation points!!!

Bailey!!!
